“All of our wooden products are treated with a standard pressure treatment called 'TanalisedE'. The treatment itself is uncoloured and this is the reason why our 'green' timber products look as though they are untreated. The brown timber that we also supply is treated with Tanatone (which is basically 'Tanalith E' with a brown pigmentation added into the mix).
Here are the benefits and some extra information regarding Tanalised E.”
TANALISED E pressure treated timber has been impregnated with Tanalised E, a waterborne product based on copper triazole technology. Copper is derived from recycled sources and triazoles are organic biodegradable biocides, commonly used to protect many of the food crops we eat. TANALISED E pressure treated timber is usually specified for both in and out of ground contact applications where there is a medium to high risk of decay or insect attack.
